Hey Ya’ll!

I’m Summer, your Lowcountry Local Farmer-Florist. 

As a South Carolina native, I've been lucky to grow many plant varieties over my last 12 years in the garden. I am farming flowers alongside our livestock in the Low Country of South Carolina, Zone 9a. My growing season typically begins in late March/early April and runs through late October/mid November.

The majority of our flowers are seed sown and harvested by hand. Our farm is focused on producing quality florals for everyday life and special occasions. For me, this means foregoing the use of pesticides and herbicides on our crops, vermicomposting and recycling most food waste on site to help improve soil life, and maintaining proper harvest times for the best possible vase life. I find seasonality to be a beautiful part of floristry, and my work is firmly rooted in seasonal availability. 

The work I do consists primarily of growing and designing with seasonal flowers and foliage. During our growing season, here’s what the farm has to offer:

• Seasonal cut flowers for local pickup or delivery

• Honesty roadside stand

• Small events and pop-ups

Spring plant starts and fresh cut flower bouquets can be purchased from the self serve farm stand. During the growing season the flower stand is open Friday-Sunday from 10:00am-8:00pm and located at 2606 County Line Road Cross, SC 29436.
